Clockwise raises awareness at the Melton Town Community Forum

Jackie White, Senior Community Development Officer for Clockwise, delivered a presentation to an audience of 63 people at the Thursday 6th October meeting of the Melton Town Community Forum.

Some of those in attendance reported that they had previously thought that Clockwise provided financial services solely to people who were financially excluded. Jackie explained that while this is one of the aims of Clockwise, and indeed credit unions as a whole, it is only one element. The presentation highlighted that Clockwise provides safe and ethical financial services to include flexible savings, affordable loans and current accounts to ALL members of the community.

Jackie finished with a question and answer session whereby local councillors, press and other forum members were able to find out more about the financial products, services and member benefits Clockwise has to offer.
