“Our Community Grant Scheme is just one of the ways we give back.”
When you save or borrow with Clockwise your money is invested back into the community. Clockwise operates a Community Grant Scheme that awards local groups grants for a whole range of items that ultimately benefit the community the group works to serve.
Groups can apply for a grant of £250. (Under exceptional circumstances we may consider a higher amount)
Under the scheme, any community groups in need of funds can apply in writing to us for a grant. To apply, the groupshould be based in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham , Coventry or Warwickshire. This can be for a whole range of items; for example, a small piece of equipment for a group such as food banks, community schemes aimed at under-represented groups, scouts/guides or a youth club. See below for examples of groups we have supported.
To apply the group will need to send us a letter outlining what they do in the community, what they need the funds for and the difference this would make to the local community. We may ask for further details following your application.
If you would like to apply, please write to Teresa Manning, CEO Clockwise Credit Union, 1 St. Nicholas Place, Leicester LE1 5LB. providing as much information as possible.
We usually respond to applications within 1 month.
