You can easily tell HMRC account details need to be updated to your Clockwise account by signing in to Government Gateway or with the HMRC app.. You’ll need your Government Gateway user ID and password. If you’re registered to receive Child Benefit online, you should already have Government Gateway details.

You’ll be able to register for Government Gateway if you have not used it before.

Scroll down and you’ll see ‘Child Benefit’ listed

Once you’ve loaded this section you’ll see an the option ‘Change your bank details’

This displays the current bank account your Child Benefit payment is paid into.

Click green “Continue” button at bottom of page.

On the next screen you’ll be asked to choose type of account you wish Child Benefit to be paid into. Choose ‘Credit Union Account’ and click “Continue”.

On this page you can enter your Clockwise account details

You can get your clockwise details on the Clockwise website MyAccount or with the Clockwise App​

You’ll then be asked to check and confirm your new account details.

To access your Family Loan faster, you can screenshot the confirmation that your details have been successfully changed and upload them to your Clockwise loan application.
