Clockwise Credit Union Donates £310 to Steps Conductive Education Centre

Clockwise Credit Union was pleased to donate £310 to Steps Conductive Education Centre, helping support the development of their outdoor area for children and families.

The cheque was presented by Elaine Godber on behalf of Clockwise, with the donation going directly towards creating an even more engaging, accessible, and enjoyable outdoor space for the children at the centre.

Steps Conductive Education Centre does fantastic work supporting children with motor disorders and their families. Their outdoor area plays an important role in helping children learn, play, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences in a safe and welcoming environment.

At Clockwise, we are proud to support organisations that make a real difference in our local communities. As a credit union, our focus has always been on helping people and giving back wherever we can.

We would like to thank Steps Conductive Education Centre for the incredible work they do, and we are delighted that this donation will help contribute towards a space where children can continue to learn, play, and thrive.

When you save or borrow with Clockwise your money is invested back into the community. Clockwise operates a Community Grant Scheme that awards local groups and individuals grants for a whole range of items that ultimately benefit the community the group and individual works to serve.

Under the scheme, any community group or individual in need of funds can apply in writing to us for a grant. To apply, the group or individual should be based in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Coventry or Warwickshire. This can be for a whole range of items; for example, a small piece of equipment for a group such as food banks, community schemes aimed at under-represented groups, scouts/guides or a youth club or a laptop for a low income student. See below for examples of groups we have supported.
