This year Clockwise Credit Union gave back over £10,000 back to our members who borrowed money.
Being a member of the Credit Union means you are entitled to a rewards payment. Clockwise members who borrowed from Clockwise and you didn’t miss a payment with us between 01/10/2022 30/09/2023 were automatically entered into the draw.
There were 17 prizes available, ranging from £100 to a massive £5000.,
Clockwise was thrilled to let Ellise, a Clockwise member from since 2019, know that she had won the £5000 grand prize
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be a grand prize winner! What an amazing gift! I’m so happy to be a member of Clockwise, I’ve been able to borrow money from Clockwise when I’ve been in a fix and as a lone parent on a low income that’s been invaluable to me and even better to be part of a credit union which gives back. With my winnings I’m going put some aside to save, pay some bills I’d been struggling with due to rising costs, but most importantly treat myself and my family to a few things.. some new clothes, trips out and a restaurant dinner or two.”

This is the second £5000 grand prize Clockwise has awarded in the last 12 months. In August 2023, Clockwise member Martin won the top prize in the Prize Saver account draw.
The PrizeSaver is an instant-access savings account with a monthly prize draw. The way it works is simple: every £1 in your account at the end of each month gives you one automatic entry into the following month’s prize draw, up to a maximum of 200 entries per draw. The entries are from all over the country as Credit Unions all over the UK pay into the Prize Saver scheme. Working with other Credit Unions allow us to offer much bigger monthly prizes – up to £5000.
